EMERALD CITY COMIC CON
This year, we had the pleasure of attending Emerald City Comic Con —The New York City Comic Con of the West Coast. While not solely focused on gaming like other conventions we have covered in the past, Emerald City Comic Con boasts a full lineup of comics, TV shows, cosplay, anime, manga, video games, animation, graphic novels, toys, and pretty much everything nerdy and geeky. So large that they needed two of Seattle’s convention buildings, Emerald City Comic Con remained one of the best and buzziest pop culture events in the Pacific Northwest this year.
We were surprised to find such a cozy, inviting indies section in the main event space this year- no longer tucked away, the Indie Games Showcase was shining bright at the Tavern at Emerald City Comic Con. We covered games of all sorts, from tabletops to PC games to Playstation Exclusives, showing that Emerald City Comic Con 2025 really had a little something for everyone. Check out which games stood out to us, from those set right in neighboring communities to outer space- at the Indie Games Showcase, the universe was your oyster!
