WHAT IS GAME RAVEN REVIEW?

Game Raven Review brings support to small indie games that are outside of the mainstream indie genre.

We are a group of content creators, writers, and indie game enthusiasts who provide written, audio & visual content over a variety of social media platforms in order to support obscure indie games outside the mainstream indie genre. Our content is uniquely organized by content creator and game features instead of just by game genre — this allows for a stronger connection and sense of community for our consumers.

Founded in September 2020, we are proudly women-owned.

Game Raven Review proudly has a team of 20 amazing volunteers, including our writers, streamers, editors, podcast hosts, and more.

So far, we have written reviews for 40+ studios and developers, with even more from various streaming, live, and podcasting events.

WHAT WE DO:

• Podcast

  • Game Raven Review hosts a weekly podcast highlighting topics in the indie gaming world. Hosted by Sam P., our podcast has garnered guest speakers from all parts of the indie world—players, developers, content creators, playtesters, and more. You can find our podcast recordings here.

• Events

  • Game Raven Review hosts various events, including our annual Christmas charity fundraiser, community days, and small charity events throughout the year.

  • At conventions and in-person events, Game Raven Review’s team provides recorded and written interviews, game play-throughs, and more. See an example of this coverage here.

• Streams & Video

  • Our ravens provide reviews, play-throughs, and interviews through our Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube channels. Our content creators provide both their thoughts and engagement during these live or recorded videos.

• Written Reviews

  • Game Raven Review offers both written reviews and editorials for games that our writers play. Written reviews are available to fully released games, and we provide editorials for games that are unfinished but have playable content (ex. alphas, demos, etc.)
