PRIDE LOUNGE
Emerald City Comic Con 2025 was filled with lots of crazy activities — from gaming to larping to stages. But what about when you need to unwind? Welcome to the Pride Lounge, hosted by Free2Luv, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, uplifting, and saving the lives of youth through the arts. They believe in loving yourself so that you can love others and feel free to love who you so desire. Free2Luv was a welcome presence at Emerald City Comic Con and brought excellent brightness to the Pride Lounge as they have in the past.
A cozy space filled with bean bags and snacks, the Pride Lounge truly understood what the gay agenda is all about- loving and welcoming everybody! This year, they hosted events such as bracelet making and drag bingo; however, it was also a great space to relax and unwind when there wasn’t an event. Whether you were looking to craft and draw, chill on a beanbag, play some games on the big screen, take a selfie with the Pride Frog banner, or make new friends, the Pride Lounge had a little something for everyone: that means both LGBTQIA+ members and allies are welcome! This has been a staple safe space at Emerald City Comic Con that we hope returns with Free2Luv for years to come.
