Fae: So we're here for Hello Neighbor 2 that I just demoed. And it was very very fun. I liked it a lot. It's very hard. *laughs*

Christie: *laughs* Yeah!

Fae: And yeah, it's definitely scary.

Christie: It's what we wanted.

Fae: I was definitely vocally like, “ahh!” at one point. *laughs*

Christie: That’s what we want! *laughs*

Fae: Are you a developer or are you part of the publishing team?

Christie: You know, I wish.  I wish I had developed Hello Neighbor. Just,  you know, the creativity is WOW. But I work on the marketing.

Fae: Yeah! Ok perfect! All right. What is it like working with TinyBuild?

Christie: I absolutely love it. You know, my favorite thing about TinyBuild is there is like no ceiling on creativity.

Fae: Oh, nice.

Christie: So if you've got like a big bold idea, and it's not been done before, you've also got a team of people behind you that say, “okay, yeah, let's try it. We can see why.” So I think it's a great place to come, you know, if you want to think outside the box and you want to try and do new creative things. I love it. And you know, I imagine everyone says this but you know, I love my colleagues. I get to work with people you know, in the States or across Europe.

Fae: Oh wow.

Christie: So it's just really amazing. Like, you know, I think I've learned a lot in marketing, but also as person as well. You know, I've experienced a lot of different culture which is sick.

Fae: Yeah, that's really cool. Is there like a certain type of game that TinyBuild like kind of looks for? Or is it just anything?

Christie: So I don't think we have a particular genre. I know we’re quite well known for you know, Hello Neighbor — so family friendly horror — but I think you know, our game scouts do an amazing job of seeing like the potential or, you know, special about a game. Like SpiderHeck, for example. When you look at it, you're like, “okay, it's fine, there's a laser swords.” But our gamedev team was like, “this is really special.”  Especially taking this event, you see how much fun people have with it: They're like losing their minds or coming up with like, a next level l strategy for the game.

Fae: Yeah!

Christie: You know, like me, I'm just like, “Oh, my goodness, like how did they had they predict that so well?

Fae: Yeah, that's awesome. What would you say is your favorite game that TinyBuild is doing?

Christie: Oh my goodness, you know, I absolutely hate this question. *laughs*

Fae: Because it’s like your children? *laughs*

Christie: Yeah, I always  answer this differently as well.  So I'm probably gonna go with Rhythm Sprout.

Fae: Okay!

Christie: So what I actually love about it is it’s like Paper Mario meets Sayonara Wild Hearts. So it's this amazing rhythm game. It’s got, you know, really good visuals and it feels and plays so well. But it just has this really cute, silly story. So you play as a Sprout, the Chosen Onion, and you've got rescue like Princess Cauliflower. So whenever I'm playing I'm like, “Yeah, the music's good. The mechanics work.” But I just love the world. I just love the world of Rhythm Sprout.

Fae: Yeah, that's awesome. Well, thank you so much!
